Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has not spread outside the prostate (stages T1 to T2c).
  • Your PSA level is less than 20 ng/mL and your Gleason score is 7 or lower.
  • You are able to carry out daily activities without help (ECOG status 0 or 1).
  • You are 18 years or older and willing to fill out questionnaires about your symptoms.
  • You have not had radiation to the pelvis, cryotherapy, or chemotherapy for prostate cancer before.
  • You do not have active diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, or Crohn's disease.
