Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer).
  • You are scheduled to have surgery to remove part of your liver (hepatectomy).
  • Your liver function is good (Child-Pugh class A).
  • Your tumor has high levels of a protein called ITGA6 (confirmed by a test before surgery).
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old, and your doctor expects you to live at least 6 more months.
