- You are a woman over 18 with heavy menstrual bleeding
- You have been diagnosed with von Willebrand disease (any type)
- Your heavy bleeding is stable on your current treatment for at least 3 months
- You are willing to have a nurse give you the study medication through an IV
- You agree to use only the feminine hygiene products provided by the study
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
