Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have cirrhosis (scarring of the liver) confirmed by a doctor.
- You must be able to have two special MRI scans (2D-MRE and 3D-MRE) within one month before a procedure that measures the pressure in your liver's main vein.
- You must be willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part.
- You cannot have had any surgery on your liver or spleen in the past.
- You cannot have liver cancer or acute (sudden) liver failure.
