Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have had nerve pain (neuropathic pain) for more than a year
  • You have tried standard treatments like antidepressants, anti-seizure drugs, or morphine with another antidepressant and they did not work well enough
  • Your average pain level in the last month has been at least 4 on a 0-10 scale
  • You do not have active epilepsy, an unhealed scalp wound, or trouble understanding how to rate your pain each day
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
