Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have paroxysmal (comes and goes) atrial fibrillation, not the constant type
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 50% or higher
  • You are scheduled to have a catheter ablation for your AFib
  • You have not had a prior ablation for AFib, and you do not have a pacemaker or defibrillator
