Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 45 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with diastasis recti abdominis (a separation of your tummy muscles).
  • The gap between your tummy muscles is at least 2.5 centimeters wide.
  • You have not received any prior treatment for this condition.
  • You do not have an umbilical hernia (a bulge near your belly button) or an intestinal disease like IBS or Crohn's.
  • You are not pregnant, planning a pregnancy soon, and have no condition that prevents you from receiving diathermy (like a tumor or open wound on your belly).
