Heart function study in leg artery disease patients

Peripheral Artery DiseaseHeart Failure

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial uses ultrasound to check how well the heart pumps in people with blocked leg arteries. It aims to find early signs of heart strain that standard tests might miss.

Arterial stiffness and blood vessel function in heart failure

This study looks at how stiff arteries are and how well blood vessels work in people with heart failure. It aims to understand these changes better to improve future care.

NCT05780359Recruiting
Testing a drug-coated stent for leg artery blockages

This study tests whether a special “drug-eluting” stent placed in a leg artery works safely and improves blood flow for people with peripheral artery disease. It may help reduce re-narrowing and improve walking, depending on your blockage details and overall health.

Check a new treatment for blocked leg arteries after procedures

This post-market study follows people with significant below-the-knee artery blockages to see how a treatment performs over time. It may help patients by confirming the safety and ongoing effectiveness of the device used for these leg artery problems.

NCT05761067Recruiting
Trial for advanced heart weakness with low pumping ability

This study looks at treatment options for adults with significantly reduced heart pumping strength and extensive coronary artery disease. It may help people who are at higher risk due to widespread blocked heart arteries, but eligibility depends on recent heart events and bleeding risk.

Exercise with blood flow restriction for heart failure

This trial tests if a special type of exercise, done while lightly restricting blood flow to the arms or legs, can help improve heart function in people with heart failure and a weakened heart pump. If you have heart failure and are planning or already in cardiac rehab, this may be an option.

Heart Artery Check for Leg Artery Disease Patients

This trial uses a special CT scan (coronary CTA with HeartFlow analysis) to look for hidden blockages in the heart arteries of people who recently had a leg artery procedure. It may help detect heart problems early so they can be treated.
