Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have suspected or confirmed lung cancer and are scheduled for surgery.
  • Your lung function or exercise capacity is below certain levels (moderate-to-high risk for surgery).
  • You can complete a cardiopulmonary exercise test (a standard test of your heart and lungs during exercise).
  • You do not have any other current or past cancers (except lung cancer).
  • You are able to exercise safely (no major physical limitations like frailty or muscle problems).
