Who can take part

  • You have noticeable bad breath (scored by a smell test).
  • You have at least 20 natural teeth (not dentures).
  • You can stop using scented mouthwash for 8 hours, stop eating for 4 hours, and stop drinking for 2 hours before the test.
  • On test day, you must not drink alcohol or caffeine, wear perfume, or eat strong-smelling foods like garlic.
  • You do not smoke, vape, or use any tobacco products.
  • You haven't taken antibiotics in the last month and do not have a serious infection like hepatitis or HIV.
