- You are a dental student aged 20 to 23.
- You have bad breath caused by gum inflammation (gingivitis), as checked by a smell test.
- You have not used mouthwash, toothpaste, or other chemical plaque control for at least one week before the study starts.
- You have at least 20 teeth and have not had gum treatment in the past month.
- You do not smoke, do not have any long-term health condition, and have not taken medications in the last two weeks.
- You avoid garlic, onion, licorice, and oral hygiene products for 24 hours before visits.
