Who can take part

  • You must have been running regularly for the past 6 months (at least 3 times a week and 10 km total per week).
  • You should not have run more than 42 km (a marathon) in one run during the last month.
  • You cannot be pregnant.
  • You must not have had any leg injury in the past 6 months that stopped you from running for 7 days or more, or required medical help.
  • You must not have broken a leg bone in the last 12 months, or have had knee or hip replacement surgery, blood clots, or kidney disease.
