Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You must have been on hemodialysis (three times a week) for at least 2 months.
  • You need a permanent dialysis access (like a fistula or graft).
  • Your average blood oxalate level must be 20 μmol/L or higher.
  • You cannot have primary hyperoxaluria (a genetic cause of high oxalate).
  • No major medication or diet changes in the last 2 months.
