Who can take part
- You must have one of these types of vasculitis: granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), or kidney-only vasculitis.
- You must be 18 or older and either newly diagnosed or experiencing a relapse that needs treatment with cyclophosphamide or rituximab.
- You need a positive ANCA blood test and your kidney function (eGFR) must be at least 20.
- You must be willing to get vaccinated against certain bacteria (meningitis, pneumonia, and H. flu) before starting the drug.
- You cannot have severe disease (like lung bleeding or nerve/brain involvement), need dialysis, or have had certain other autoimmune conditions.
- If you are of childbearing age, you must use effective birth control during the study and for a period afterward.
