Who can take part
- You smoke at least 8 cigarettes a day for 6 months or more.
- You are not pregnant and do not have a history of seizures, stroke, or serious brain injury.
- You have not received rTMS treatment before.
- You are not currently taking varenicline (Chantix), nicotine patches, gum, or certain other medications that affect the brain.
- Your shoulders are not wider than 24 inches (to fit the MRI scanner).
