Who can take part

  • Your child is under 18 years old and cared for at Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital.
  • Your child has ulcerative colitis (UC) that is either in a flare (active symptoms) or in remission (no symptoms).
  • Your child has not taken antibiotics or antifungal medicines in the last 4 weeks.
  • Your child does not have a known C. difficile infection (without symptoms).
  • Your child has not had their colon removed (colectomy) and does not have other liver diseases like sclerosing cholangitis.
