Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with lupus nephritis (a type of kidney inflammation caused by lupus).
  • You do not have chronic digestive diseases like Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or ongoing diarrhea.
  • You are not on dialysis, do not have diabetes, and are not pregnant.
  • You have not taken antibiotics, probiotics, or similar supplements in the last 4 weeks.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or very high blood pressure emergency in the last 6 months, and you do not have kidney blood vessel disease.
