Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer that is locally advanced (tumor larger than 2 cm but not spread to distant organs).
- Your daily activity level is good (ECOG score 0 or 1, meaning you can do most things without help).
- Your heart, liver, kidneys, and blood counts are working well enough for this treatment.
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation for any other cancer before (except for a few cured early-stage cancers).
- If you can get pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during treatment and for 7 months after the last dose.
