CAR T cells for HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer
Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR T cells) that targets two markers on cancer cells: TRAIL-R2 and HER2. It is for people with advanced or recurrent HER2-positive breast cancer that has not been stopped by standard treatment.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You must have been diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
- Your cancer must have gotten worse after at least one standard treatment.
- You must have a tumor sample showing HER2 levels of 1+, 2+, or 3+ by a special test (IHC).
- You must have adequate organ function (liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs) and be in fairly good overall health (ECOG score 0-2).

This trial tests a new treatment using your own immune cells, modified to target a protein called B7-H3 on triple-negative breast cancer cells. It may help if other treatments haven't worked.
This trial tests a personalized immune-cell treatment (CAR T) built from your own blood lymphocytes. It targets cancers that show a marker called CD70, aiming to slow or stop the cancer when other treatments didn’t work.
This Phase 1 study tests a personalized immune-cell treatment (HER2 CAR T cells) given with an immune “checkpoint” medicine (pembrolizumab or another checkpoint blocker) to shrink advanced HER2-positive sarcoma. It may help patients whose cancer is progressing or coming back after prior treatment.
This Phase 1 trial tests CAR T cells made from your own immune cells to target advanced breast cancer. The cells are designed to recognize a specific cancer marker (called MUC1*), with the goal of shrinking tumors or keeping them under control.
This trial tests a new type of immunotherapy called CAR-T cells that are designed to attack cancer cells that have a high amount of a protein called HER2. It is for people with advanced solid tumors (like certain breast, stomach, or lung cancers) that have not responded to standard treatments.
This study tests a new type of cell therapy called anti-HER2-CAR-T for people with advanced HER2-positive solid tumors (like breast, stomach, or colon cancer) whose cancer has not responded to other treatments. The therapy uses your own immune cells engineered to target and kill cancer cells.
