CAR T cells made from your blood for advanced breast cancer
Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.
This Phase 1 trial tests CAR T cells made from your own immune cells to target advanced breast cancer. The cells are designed to recognize a specific cancer marker (called MUC1*), with the goal of shrinking tumors or keeping them under control.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You have confirmed breast cancer, and your ER, PR, and HER2 test results are documented from pathology
- Your tumor has enough of the MUC1* marker (at least 30% staining) from a tumor tissue sample
- You have advanced/metastatic breast cancer and have had the required prior treatments for your tumor type
- You must have measurable tumors on scans (CT/MRI/PET) that can be tracked over time
- Your overall health is strong enough for treatment: age 18+, and performance status at least 60%
- Blood tests and organ function must be adequate (for example, certain kidney/liver tests, low infection risk, and enough blood counts)

This early-stage trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy called CAR-T cells, which are designed to recognize and attack cancer cells that have a protein called HER2. The cells are made from your own immune cells, trained in the laboratory, and given back to you. The study evaluates how safe the treatment is and whether it can shrink tumors.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR T cells) that targets two markers on cancer cells: TRAIL-R2 and HER2. It is for people with advanced or recurrent HER2-positive breast cancer that has not been stopped by standard treatment.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR-NK cells) that targets specific proteins on breast cancer cells. It's for people with advanced HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer who have tried other treatments or can't take them.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR-NK cells) that targets two markers on breast cancer cells. It is for people with advanced HER2-positive or triple-negative breast cancer who have tried other treatments and need new options.
This study tests a new type of cell therapy called anti-HER2-CAR-T for people with advanced HER2-positive solid tumors (like breast, stomach, or colon cancer) whose cancer has not responded to other treatments. The therapy uses your own immune cells engineered to target and kill cancer cells.
This trial tests a new type of immunotherapy called CAR-T cells that are designed to attack cancer cells that have a high amount of a protein called HER2. It is for people with advanced solid tumors (like certain breast, stomach, or lung cancers) that have not responded to standard treatments.
