Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You are Thai.
  • You have either normal hearing (pure-tone hearing test shows hearing levels within normal range) or you have conductive hearing loss (sound is blocked in the middle ear) and have a scheduled surgery for the ear within the next 2 months.
  • You have not had middle ear surgery in the past.
  • You do not have an earache right now.
  • You can cooperate with hearing tests.
