NCT04831060Recruiting
Study of inflammation in gum and implant disease

This trial studies people with advanced gum disease (periodontitis) or gum inflammation around dental implants (peri-implantitis), and compares them with people who have healthy gums. The goal is to understand inflammation and how it relates to these dental conditions.

NCT07697729Not yet recruiting
Gum proteins and inflammation around dental implants

This trial looks at specific proteins found in the gum tissue around dental implants. The goal is to understand how these proteins may be linked to inflammation in people with peri-implantitis, a condition that affects the gums and bone around implants.

Erzurum, Erzurum
NCT05832541Recruiting
Study tissue changes around dental implants in adults

This trial studies signs of inflammation and tissue change around dental implants (especially in people with peri-implantitis) compared with people getting implants in healthier gum/bone areas. It may help doctors understand what markers to look for to better monitor or treat implant problems.

NCT07557459Not yet recruiting
Study of Gum Disease Around Dental Implants

This study examines gum and bone health around dental implants that have been in place for at least 3 years. Researchers want to understand how to detect and prevent problems around implants, which could help improve long-term implant success.

NCT07414498Recruiting
Bacteria in gum surgery for implant and tooth infections

This study looks at the bacteria living in deep gum pockets around implants or teeth during different types of gum surgery. It may help determine which surgical approach is best for your kind of gum infection.
