Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • This must be your first stroke (either a clot or a bleed) that caused weakness in one arm.
  • You need to be able to start the brain stimulation treatment within 21 days of your stroke.
  • You cannot have any metal objects in your head or neck (like a pacemaker or cochlear implant).
  • You cannot have a history of epilepsy or seizures.
