Who can take part

  • You had a sudden pull or tear in your hamstring or calf muscle from sprinting or jumping.
  • You are 18 years or older and play sports or stay physically active.
  • You do not have diabetes (type 1 or type 2).
  • You do not have a chronic disease like rheumatoid arthritis or a connective tissue disorder.
  • You are not taking blood-thinning medication and are not afraid of needles.
