Who can take part
- You are a male recreational football player who trains or plays at least twice weekly (45+ minutes per session) for the past 12 months
- You are between 18 and 35 years old
- You have a new hamstring muscle strain in the same leg and muscle as a previous strain diagnosed and treated within the last 24 months
- Your current injury started between 3 and 10 days ago
- An ultrasound exam done within the last 7 days shows a mild or moderate hamstring strain (not severe)
- You have a BMI between 18.5 and 30.0, and you can walk without crutches or assistance
