Who can take part

  • You have not had any previous treatment for your birthmark.
  • Your doctor has confirmed the birthmark is a capillary lymphatic malformation (cLM) using an MRI scan.
  • You are able to come back for check-ups 3 to 6 months after treatment.
  • Your birthmark is on the surface of the skin (superficial).
  • You do not have an allergy to iodine.
  • Your birthmark is not part of a larger syndrome (a condition that affects other parts of the body).
