Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older with type 1 diabetes for at least 1 to 2 years
  • Use an insulin pump or take daily insulin injections
  • Have a body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 35
  • No recent severe low blood sugar or hospital visits for blood sugar problems
  • Not taking certain other diabetes medications (like GLP-1 agonists or SGLT2 inhibitors) in the last 3 months
  • Good overall health with normal heart, liver, and kidney function
