Who can take part

  • Age between 21 and 80 years old
  • Have at least one episode of urge incontinence (leaking urine with a sudden strong urge to go) over 3 days
  • Feel at least moderately bothered by a strong urgency to empty your bladder
  • Have not taken overactive bladder medications (or have stopped for at least 2 weeks)
  • Be willing and able to self-catheterize if needed
  • Not have certain health conditions like a pacemaker, serious heart/kidney disease, pregnancy, or active infection
