Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have had an acute coronary syndrome (like a heart attack or unstable angina) and a complex heart procedure (stenting).
  • You are willing to take two blood thinners (one is aspirin) for at least 3 months after the procedure.
  • You are willing to give a blood sample for genetic testing.
  • Your heart procedure had at least one complex feature (like multiple stents, a blocked artery, or a very calcified lesion).
