  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have stable heart disease or a recent heart attack (acute coronary syndrome)
  • You are scheduled to have a stent placed (percutaneous coronary intervention)
  • You are willing to give a blood sample for genetic testing and platelet function testing
  • You have not had a prior stroke (bleeding or clot-caused)
  • You are not pregnant, on blood thinners, or have certain other serious medical conditions
