Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have nasopharyngeal cancer and be getting radiation or chemoradiation treatment.
  • You must have records of mouth or throat soreness and pain when swallowing.
  • You must have good oral hygiene and no untreated dental problems.
  • You must not have unstable heart disease or poorly controlled diabetes.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be 18.5 or higher.
