Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have nasopharyngeal cancer confirmed by biopsy.
  • You are currently getting radiation or chemoradiation to treat your cancer.
  • You have records of how bad your mouth and throat sores are and any pain when swallowing.
  • Your mouth hygiene is good, and you don't have untreated dental problems or metal fillings.
  • You don't have unstable heart disease or poorly controlled diabetes.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is at least 18.5.
