Who can take part

  • You have kidney stones between 20 and 40 millimeters in size.
  • You are scheduled for mini-PCNL surgery on one kidney.
  • You do not have a urinary tract infection before surgery.
  • You have no birth defects in your urinary system.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder.
  • You are not planning to have a second surgery for leftover stones larger than 4 millimeters.
