Who can take part
- You have chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 3 or 5, meaning your kidney function is moderately to severely reduced.
- You have been seeing a dietitian or nutritionist for at least 6 months.
- You are on regular hemodialysis for at least 6 months OR you have CKD stage 3 or 5 and are not on dialysis.
- You take 1 to 3 different blood pressure medications.
- You do not have diabetes, cancer, AIDS, autoimmune diseases, or active infections.
- You are not pregnant, and you are not allergic to bee stings, corn starch, or propolis.
