  • You are scheduled for a planned surgery on your spine (neck, mid-back, or lower back).
  • You do not have a severe psychiatric condition that would prevent you from participating.
  • You do not have a serious medical problem (like heart, lung, kidney, or liver disease) that would interfere.
  • You are not pregnant.
