- You are age 18 to 85
- You are having a major spine surgery involving multiple levels, or a bone-removal surgery such as a corpectomy or vertebral column resection
- Your surgeon expects a large amount of bone (with spongy bone cells) will be removed and discarded
- You can and agree to sign informed consent
- You do not have certain medical conditions (including late-stage kidney disease, a cancer history, or major mobility limits from paralysis)
