Who can take part

  • You have heart disease from a past heart attack, and your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is above 35%.
  • You have had a specific type of fast heartbeat (sustained ventricular tachycardia) that did not make you faint or cause cardiac arrest.
  • You are at least 18 years old, not pregnant, and willing to follow the study procedures.
  • You do not have other serious heart conditions (like needing a pacemaker) or health issues that make the treatments unsafe.
