Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have had chronic hepatitis B for more than 6 months.
  • Your hepatitis B virus level at screening is either: low (≥200 IU/mL but <20,000 IU/mL) and you are not on any antiviral medication, or very low (<20 IU/mL) and you have been on tenofovir only for at least 6 months.
  • Your liver is healthy (no cirrhosis or other liver disease) and your liver function tests are normal or only slightly elevated.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are willing to use effective contraception if needed.
