Who can take part
- You have infiltrative hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer that spreads without a clear border), confirmed by MRI or CT scan.
- Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh class A or B) and you are able to do daily activities without help (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- You have not had any other type of cancer in the past.
- You have no tumor clot (thrombus) in the main vein returning blood to the heart or in the upper chamber of the heart.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
