Who can take part

  • You have a type of thymus tumor that is stage II or III (Masaoka-Koga) and you have had surgery to remove it with no cancer left behind (R0) or just a tiny bit under the microscope (R1).
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • Your general health is good enough to walk around and take care of yourself (ECOG score 0-2).
  • Your blood counts, kidney function, liver function, and lung function are within certain safe ranges.
  • You have not had radiation therapy to your chest before, and you do not have a pacemaker or other metal implants that could interfere with the radiation.
