Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have a chronic lung disease.
  • You are willing and able to give your permission to be in the study.
  • You do not have other serious health issues like severe heart failure, advanced liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled diabetes, or cancer.
  • You are not currently having a flare-up of your lung disease or another acute illness.
  • You do not have a muscle or nerve condition that affects your strength.
  • You have not had surgery in the past 6 months or received treatments (like long-term steroids, chemotherapy, or radiation) that could change your muscle mass.
