- You are between 40 and 80 years old.
- You had an ischemic stroke (blocked blood vessel) within the last 7 days.
- You have some trouble with memory, thinking, or attention after your stroke.
- You did not have serious memory or thinking problems before your stroke.
- You can read, write, and follow instructions for thinking tests.
- You do not have severe disability from your stroke (e.g., cannot move one side or speak clearly).
