Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with urothelial carcinoma (the most common type of bladder cancer) or a related variant.
- The cancer must have grown into the muscle layer of your bladder (stage T2 or higher) but not spread to other organs.
- You must have received platinum-based chemotherapy (like cisplatin or carboplatin) before having bladder removal surgery or other bladder surgery.
- Your hospital must still have a stored sample of your bladder tumor tissue from a prior biopsy (TURBT) for lab testing.
