Who can take part

  • You must have a diagnosis of prostate cancer (adenocarcinoma) within the last 9 months.
  • Your cancer should be classified as 'unfavorable intermediate risk' (certain PSA levels, Gleason score, or stage).
  • You cannot have had prior hormone therapy (like Lupron or Firmagon) for your cancer.
  • You must be able to exercise (treadmill test) and have an MRI, so no claustrophobia or metal implants.
  • You need to have adequate kidney, liver, and blood cell counts (tests will be done to check).
  • You cannot have other serious conditions like uncontrolled heart disease, or active inflammatory diseases requiring steroids.
