Who can take part

  • You must have prostate cancer confirmed by a biopsy called “prostate adenocarcinoma.”
  • You must be able to start testosterone-lowering treatment for about 6 months using either leuprolide injections or relugolix tablets.
  • You cannot have taken a GnRH medicine (either agonist or antagonist) before.
  • Your baseline testosterone must be above 200 ng/mL before hormone treatment starts.
  • You must be healthy enough for study meds: good blood counts and acceptable liver and kidney test results.
  • You must be able to take pills (if you’re assigned relugolix), and be able to consent.
