Who can take part

  • You were born before 37 weeks of pregnancy (preterm) or at full term (controls).
  • You are between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You are currently inactive (less than 150 minutes of exercise per week).
  • Your biological mother must be willing to take part in the study (only for preterm-born participants).
  • You must be in good health (no major heart, lung, or metabolic diseases) and cleared for moderate exercise.
