Exercise for heart and brain health in premature children

This study tests whether a supervised exercise program can help children born prematurely (before 32 weeks) improve their heart health and thinking skills. It's designed for children ages 6 to 12 who are otherwise healthy and not receiving special education for attention problems.

Who can take part

  • Your child was born at or before 32 weeks of pregnancy
  • Your child is between 6 and 12 years old
  • Your child does not attend special education for attention problems
  • Your child does not have color blindness or a long-term eye disease
  • Your child is not taking any medicine for a mental health condition (like ADHD or anxiety)
  • Your child does not have a physical injury, disability, or epilepsy that would make exercise unsafe
