COPD treatment study based on eosinophil levels

Who can take part

  • You are 40 years or older.
  • You have smoked at least 10 pack-years (e.g., 1 pack a day for 10 years) and quit smoking more than 6 months ago.
  • Your lung function shows COPD (FEV1/FVC less than 0.70) with mild to moderate airflow limitation (FEV1 at least 30% of normal).
  • You are currently on two long-acting bronchodilator inhalers (LABA and LAMA) for at least 8 weeks.
  • You have not used any inhaled steroid (ICS) in the last 3 months.
  • You have not had a COPD flare-up (exacerbation) in the past 8 weeks.
  • You do not have asthma, bronchiectasis, or other significant lung disease.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, and if you can become pregnant, you agree to use highly effective contraception.
