Who can take part

  • You are a current or former smoker with at least a 10 pack-year smoking history (e.g., smoked 1 pack/day for 10 years).
  • You have a confirmed COPD diagnosis with moderate to severe airflow obstruction.
  • Your lungs are over-inflated (more than 135% of the expected volume).
  • You have had at least one COPD flare-up in the past year or are on ongoing maintenance treatment.
  • You do not have asthma, a history of certain heart conditions, or a recent lung infection.
  • If you are a woman who can become pregnant, you must use highly effective birth control.
