If you or your loved one has been diagnosed with acute kidney injury within 24 hours of ICU admission, this imaging test may help guide care.

Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with acute kidney injury within 24 hours of being admitted to the ICU.
- You are expected to stay in the ICU for at least 48 hours.
- A special ultrasound with contrast dye will be done within 24 hours of your kidney injury diagnosis.
- You do not have advanced chronic kidney disease (stage 4 or worse) or need dialysis.
- You are not pregnant and do not have allergies to the contrast dye used in this study.
